Production and Freight
All in items found on the In Stock section of this Website are available for immediate dispatch.
In such cases, we use Post Haste to deliver nationwide, even to rural delivery areas. Delivery for these items takes between 1-3 days for regular addresses, longer for rural delivery.
Zelex SLE dolls are ready made. There is no wait for Zelex SLE dolls to be made. They are sent from Zelex as soon as they are ordered, and take roughly 14-18 days to arrive (give or take depending on speedy freight or any clearance delays, which we completely take care of).
The bespoke life sized dolls are made to order, and have differing production times, depending on the brand:
- For WM Dolls, expect production to take five to seven working days from the time you place your order, to completion of your doll.
- For Zelex Dolls, production generally takes four to six weeks. There is a lot more detailed work for silicone dolls, especially with implanted eyebrows, hair and realistic body painting.
When your doll is ready, you will be sent Factory Photographs of your actual doll. These are very basic images, taken by the factory staff, or sometimes the sales rep, to show that your doll has all your correct customisations as ordered.

- Once you have checked over the Factory Photographs, you then reply by E-Mail to confirm that your order is correct, your doll is then packed and sent to the Freight Forwarder.
- From there, the doll must wait for a short time before being given space on the flight.
- Once loaded onto an aircraft, your doll generally takes a few days before arriving in New Zealand, depending on the route it’s taken.
- After your consignment arrives in the country, it’s a matter of Customs clearance and local delivery or pick up.
- This normally takes up to a week. There are some rare cases where dolls have been delayed, but this is only ever due to staffing/workload reasons, and not the doll.
- Once clearance is complete, your doll then makes her way from the carrier to you – or us, if you are picking up from us.
The entire process from start to finish takes from two weeks (fastest times) to six weeks (average longer wait times).
Please note that once you have placed your order and approved the Factory Photographs, we take care of everything.
This includes every aspect of the process, from liaising with the freight companies and completing clearance, to making sure the final delivery driver knows how to get hold of you for delivery.
All you need to do is relax and wait for your new doll, while we manage the entire thing.
Any purchase from us the same way you would any purchase from a local retailer. Many people buying dolls think of it as them importing something, but it’s us that carries the responsibility, so you don’t have any hassles.
You know when you buy that couch from a retailer, like Farmers for example, and they say “Allow up to six weeks for delivery?” It’s the exact same process as that.
